New study technique

Have kids who are in school but who have hard time studying for their classes? Not to worry, you can get acquainted with "Study Ball"- a prison style device that is attached to the ankle on the set study time (caution, not to be programmed for more than four hours) and stays there until the time expires (forgot to mention that its 9.5 kg/21 pounds, so, no way to walk around with it).

"The Study Ball gadget is a prison-style ball and chain that you can program to keep track of how much time you spend studying. Once you’ve selected the desired duration, you chain the ball to your ankle and the manacle won’t come off until the schedule study time is up. A red LED indicator displays the “Study Time Left“ and keeps you informed as to how much longer you’ve got to keep studying".

It is the 21st century way of dealing with distraction of your kids while they are studying for their exams but is it really fair? A little barbaric way- chaining your child to a metal ball- of dealing with a problem?

Anyway, the point is, that the more you force a child to study, the more distracted he/she gets and turning to such desperate measures might actually be counterproductive. But on the product's website, it also says, that it is also recommended for grown- up jobs: "freelance workers: web designers, computer programmers, bloggers, architects, translators, and anyone else who spends long hours sitting in front of the computer". I don't know how other bloggers do it, by I tend to actually enjoy when I write for my blog?!
